Based on the principles of integrity and sustainability, our objective is to positively contribute to well-integrated, environmentally sensitive communities and urban living areas.
Introducing our Founder
John completed his BTech in Town and Regional Planning at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in 2006. After gaining indispensable knowledge as an intern, of public-sector processes and statutory implementation, as well as the compilation of development frameworks, John commenced his career as a Town Planning Technician at the Saldanha Bay Municipality in December 2006.
During his time at the Saldanha Bay Municipality, John was largely involved in development strategy, including the review of spatial development frameworks and zoning schemes. He also managed assessments relating to land use applications, environmental and heritage studies, building plans, law enforcement and public meetings. After 6 years in Saldanha, John then moved to Cape Town in 2012 and was appointed Senior Professional Officer: Land Use Management for the City of Cape Town.
Here he guided numerous sizeable mixed-use developments, which required a special focus on urban form and character. His key areas included the Greenfield Development in the burgeoning Blaauwberg growth corridor, as well as Century City and surrounds.
John made the decision to work independently in 2018 and with his extensive knowledge, experience and diverse skill-set, is committed to building lasting relationships with clients and business associates, through the delivery of a tailored, highly efficient town planning service.
